Levi Strauss Museum
Levi Strauss, the famous jeans maker whose given name was Loeb, was born in Buttenheim, Germany in 1829. The very house where he was born and raised, along with five brothers and sisters, features the exhibits. Original and replica artifacts from Levi's life and business constitute the tourist attraction, which recently underwent a thorough renovation. In honor of Levi and commissioned by the Levi Strauss Museum, Gebr. BING proudly presents the Jeany Collection, a line of teddy bears made of denim.
